Finding sour cream in Japan is a little tough. Here's one interesting idea we came up with that we posted on Unpretentious Passion about Creme Fraiche as a sour cream substitution for the Holy Grail in re-creating the California Burrito. Who knows? Food is meant to be played with.

They don't have sour cream in Japan!? Oh man, that's almost as bad as not having HBO!
BTW, did you ever get to see last season or the season before (of the Sopranos)...

Yep, through the good graces and creative (ahem) recording of my brother in Maryland, I have the entire last season of the Sopranos....it was mailed to me in Negishi!
I'm anxiously awaiting the final episodes, as I'm sure you are too. It would be fun to have a HUGE ITALIAN DINNER to celebrate the very last, very final episode next year (some of our family needs to catch up on the current episodes, though).
Sopranos=one of the best series ever on TV (although I love Deadwood and Showtime's "Weeds" is a current favorite too).

You know Pete and I are huge Soprano fans. We defiantly need to catch up on the last season but we are always in for a large Italian feast and the Soprano Finale.
